Concrete wall panels.

Cast stone panels that are cut with an ordinary wood blade and fixed with nails or screws. First place, Attendee’s Choice, Most Innovative Products at the World of Concrete.

Laid stone needs a mason, mortar, scaffolding and a footing to carry the weight. The SBC panel system needs a circular saw and a nail gun. That is the whole product, and it is why a contractor who has never laid a stone can quote the work and finish it in a fraction of the time.

Panels are cast at 1′ × 2′ from real stone, so the face carries the irregularity of the original rather than a repeating mould pattern, and colour is worked into the casting rather than sprayed on. Design sets contain six molds in a pattern — 42 patterns in the range, from $750 for a specialty set to $1,950 for Fractured Quartz.

There is also a large 3′ × 4′ Water Wall Panel System for feature work.
