This is where decorative concrete stops being a finish and becomes an object. Crystal and agate molds are for artistic water walls, feature countertops, inlays and boulder features — the pieces a customer photographs.

Agate slices and crystal clusters are cast in epoxy and set into the concrete, then poured over or polished back so they sit flush and light passes through them. Backlit in a water wall or a bar top, that is a detail nobody can buy off a shelf — and it is what turns a countertop quote into a commission.
